  • Sounds like the head gasket could be the problem I would check the cylinder compressions.

  • If the fuel pump definitely stopped running there must still a problem, this could be the pump, relay or wiring. It is easy to change the pump only to find the problem is a relay, please visit my web page on bypassing relays askthemechanic.co.uk/electrical/relays.html

  • Thanks for taking the time to say thank you.

  • ok how bout this i will list the only thing i havent changed (lol) and you can maybe tell whats up with my engine and why it misfires under boost or partial throttle. ecu and fuel pump :)

  • couldnt hear anything

  • i have a 1995 oldsmobile 88 royale.. i have to use starter fluid or gas in a hose(i think the fuel line) in order to get my car to start it was working at first now i can only get my car to crank maybe once a day doing this method.. wat do you think that could be.. also my car is running hot very quickly i think its due to some rusty like substance that seems to turn my coolant different colors and cloggs it up..

  • I have a 2003 Saturn vue 3LV6.I used starter fluid in the air intake and it started right up. I drove it around for about 45 minutes, stopped and started it again without issue. Do I still worry about the fuel pump; or was it a clogging issue? Thanks for your great videos. I know you saved me at least $400 today.

  • Great information of a DIY mechanic like myself.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Good video, very precise with the voltage drop specs.
