Saban's Adventures of Oliver Twist Opening Ep 1

The opening for the animated series Saban's Adventures of Oliver Twist based very loosely on Charles Dickens classic. Not to be taken as a literary alternative.

There is no explanation as to why there are anthropomorphic beings with humans. In the series it turns out that Oliver is not really an orphan. He has a mother but has been separated from her and later sent to the workhouse. In an interesting take, unlike his literary counterpart, the character Fagin (as a fox) is portrayed as a good guy and not a thief teaching younger thieves, or so it seems.

Mona Marshall provides the voice of Oliver. Televised the same time American Tail Fievel Goes West was released. This series is not yet on DVD. Again, taking Charles Dickens classic in a lighter tone for kids series. Hopefully this will spark interest in a DVD release. I'll see if I still have episodes available.

I wish that Saban/MVS/Disney would release all of these on DVD or Blu-ray.

The're missing out on some major cash from sales, I mean 52 episodes spread over dvd's, You do the maths.

I for one would buy the entire series and I know of many others who are with me.

Come on, Pull Your fingers from out of Your a** Disney and regain some of Your fanbase that You lost.

-Orphanage owner wants to get him back just for soul purpose of being a dick

God I love old cartoons.

this show was so HORRIBLE!! it was boring, the animation sucked and the story was just gay! And that theme song made my skin crawl....but it was the only thing on Sunday morning as a kid...other than church.
