A slideshow i made showing Austin metro pics i collected over the years. This is recorded by my digital camera that's why the video quality is quite bad..sorry! I choose abba's super trouper to go with this as the metro was a super car which gave the british motor industry a lease of life and saved austin rover/BL from going under. Sadly everyday many metro's are scrapped or canabalised for their engines and parts.
I posted this for metro people or british car lovers, as the metro is truely BRITISH. I'm a metro enthusiast myself ;).

  • @123marcooooooo

    Ohh nice :)

I've got a 1988 Metro 1.3 Automatic as my second car. She is currently undergoing restoration work. My first and current car is a modern Daewoo Matiz :L Not much fun or character as a good old Metro.

  • You know the austin metro 1.0 clubman 1990

is it nippy? and can they be made to look pretty smart?

  • @StraightXedgee

yes i know the austin metro clubman 1.0 from 1990 :) They are very nippy indeed as they feature the classic austin a series engine. Of course! they can be made to look smart if you buy one you can modify it to your tastes as long as you like it :)

    Thanks, Danny

  • personally my most favourite model was the 1988 duo tone coloured vanden plases, they were nice ;) i still think there nice and very stylish.

  • i had one with an MED 1380 road race competition engine in it 120BHP/131MPH :-)

  • Bet Most of them are in the metro grave yard in the sky,I reckon Metro's Are Rare Now, They Need To Be Saved And Restored !!

  • yes it is ;(. they didn't rust if the typical austin metro was underseald and wayoyld, a key to keeping rust away from the little metro :)
