i have acer aspire one 1gig of ram 160gig hdd dualbooted with win xp home and ubuntu 9.04 not netbook remix its been installed with an external cd drive

I have the same AA1 as you, 512MB, SSD and I'm downloading the Ubuntu 9.04 NBR atm. Takes quite a while to boot up, Linpus takes less than 15s, however Ubuntu is a lot better.
