I have this amp, and play guitar through it. I use a distortion pedal. This is a 4 ohm amp, did you use 4 ohm speakers?

I hope you know that playing acoustics through anything other than an acoustic guitar amp will kill the speaker. I hope you also know that playing anything other than a bass though a bass amp will kill the speaker. And once again, I hope you know that playing a bass through anything other than a bass amp will kill the speaker.
Please do not play any instrument through an amp that it was not designed for again.
