Andy Tille switch off the engine from his ELA Gyrocopter in 1000 ft altitude, does a 360 ° turn and watch at this landing.

  • landing, tuch down, between 10 and 0 km/h, depends on wind, weight, air density......

  • depends on wind, weight, air density....... exact vertical app. 900- 1500 ft/ min, with forward speed less, depends on the speed you fly. Best speed for low gliding angle is between 60 and 70 miles.

  • @turnaful I believe he was aerobatting it to a nervous german pupil and overloaded the rotor which invoked a stall with the tragic ending

  • It is sad to hear the pilot died at a crash with this Gyro.

    My deep expression of sympathy to his family and friends.

    Is it known why that fatal crash happened?
