Ok, yes I do know what this song is talking about, that would be why I chose it. And if some of you don't understand the meaning behind the lyrics I suggest you go google 'The Columbine Shooting'.
I know this happened a long time ago.
April 20, 1999 at at 11:19 am,to be exact.
But the thing is, since this happened other shootings have happened. And they've been happening way before the Columbine Shooting as well.
It would seem people just don't understand that we need to learn and teach others of these horrible events, so that we may learn from them.
These killings are all caused by discrimination.
I'm not some kind of peace activist, but I am a citizen of the U.S., who sees these things and wonders why American was ever called 'The Land Of The Free'.

Yeah...Sorry about that. I've been interested in alot of these things lately, and it's been bugging me that even after all that has happened, we still can't get our heads out of our asses and play nice with everyone else. Mankind seems to be doomed to a life of racism, discrimination, and war. There's no hope for us If we can't all realize that.

well she says "i will say yes" after "do you belive in god written on a bullet, say yes you pull the triger." right? well i think she means she belives in god and she'll do anything for him. cassie is probably someone she knows who belives in god or did. i dont know the story so i cant realy tell you. but thats what i think.

Oh! No, Flyleaf wrote the song about two girls who were caught up in the Columbine Shooting. When the school was being attacked by the students, the shooters held a gun to their head and ask them if they beleived in god and if they were to answer yes, then they would shoot them. So even knowing that they were going to be shot for answering yes, they still admitted that they were faithful to god, and therefore got shot.

This is a great video. And I really love the song. I wish that that shooting never happened. So many innocent people died for a stupid reason. I agree with you on the fact that mankind might be doomed to a life of racism, discrimination, and war. Great job making the amv. 5 stars and a favorite.
