WOW. So much respect. She's not only on top of her tapping game here, as she always was, but she mastered an entirely new style of dancing that was not of her generation. Most would have looked awkward at best, but Ann looks like she could hang alongside Ann Margret and Nancy Sinatra with her 60s moves!

too bad ann miller is dead i sure would love to kiss her and her shiny pretty precious shoe metal mmm

@Josef395 True, one can move about without tapping, but the taps were dubbed in later on almost all television shows, and certainly in all of the old movie musicals. Doesn't make her work any less fantastic. Even Astaire and Rogers taps were dubbed in later...

She's awesome!!! I've ALWAYS loved her, but never saw her dance to anything like this!!! Too cool! & G O R G E O U S!!!!!!!!!!!<3 Mind you, horribly underrated because she refused to whore herself out!!!!!

Love the fact Ann was up for keeping with the times in terms of the routines she did.. and this was certainly a risk to take. Comedy video!

Does anyone have this video clip alot better too see than this 1 i love to see annie's taps

Hello,
The tapping is real. If you are a tap dancer, you will know that you can move about without tapping. Watch the video again, and maybe you will note how she is moving when not tapping.

Wished it was more clear because Ann was getting down with a funky groove...lol

I wish this was clearer. She must have been late 40s or early 50s when she did this ... jeez! Ann was my cousin ... the dance genes live on in my family, for sure!
one can only imagine the hours or practice she endured to put on an amazing performance like that. And to think she did this for many many years at a high standard of perfection when she was not a young woman. She was simply amazing, and this number is a hoot, gogo boots and all.
