Synopsis
Zoha and Mathieu meet one evening in Beirut. Zoha is a young Lebanese singer, trying to escape her dominating husband. Mathieu is an attorney for a French telecom company operating in Syria, who unbeknownst to him, is under surveillance and will subsequently be accused of spying. Their love story lasts 10 days, fuelled by their fears and desires, by intrigue and violence. "Beirut Hotel" is a romance constantly on edge, similar to the country in which the story is set, vacillating between war and peace, where the only certainty is the uncertain.
