Our 13 month old son with spina bifida learned to crawl on all fours 3 days after palate surgery because he had to wear arm splints. What a miracle for us! All praise and glory to God! HE is our strength when we are weak.

You can read more about Owen's journey on his website: www.caringbridge.org/visit/owenpotter

(Disclaimer: after palate repair your baby should wear arm splints for 6 weeks to keep him/her from putting their hands or anything else in their mouths. We only had his splints off long enough to exercise and only with our 100% attention. Always follow your doctor's instructions.)
