Lee Strobel & Josh McDowell: Personal Experience vs Evidence - The Atheist Experience #609

The caller is quite right about Lee Strobel and how he has to be 'hiding cards under his shirt' so to speak. I was forced by my parents to read his 'Case for Christ' and when he comes to the discrepancies between the gospels' accounts of the resurrection he glosses over them as quickly and disingenuously as possible. He ignores all the concrete incongruences about who was where and when, and even went so far as to explain different numbers of angels by saying where there are 2 there is also 1!

"George" the caller is either a radio personality or he is an undiscovered one. Great voice!!

lol what a cool caller

@MegaFraudbuster Btw... religion only offers rationalizations. Science offers true answers.
-
@MegaFraudbuster You might want to watch DonExodus2's video entitled "How abiogenesis works"
-
@MegaAngrycat No, you should hear yourself. You don't have to have a higher degree to be smart enough to discount the Bible.
-
Caller should be on the Atheist Experience as a host.

Josh McDowel did say in his book that the material he summed up in his book will not be convincing to everyone!

No, just pointing out that the Bunnists, the Clausists and the Toothists don't have any right to speak on behalf of their imaginary friends.

The truth doesn't hurt unless a lie got there first.
