  • Hi Ann,

I'm following your tutorial this week and its come to the part where I have to cut the panels for the fondant but I'm unsure if I need to wrap these panels in something or n.ot before I put them in the freezer and how long should they need to be in the freezer and what thickness did you roll the fondant to?

    Sorry so many questions,

just love your tutorials, loved watching you on Ultimate cake Off the other night too.

Look forward to your next tutorials.

  • hi what is the size of the cake? love it many thanks uk jake x

  • Hi Ann I love your tutorial but I need to know how long to freeze the paste for the sides of the box.

  • @matrixofdeath if yu want to make it into shapes, you cut it. yes it is eatable. it depends on what kind of fondant it is for the taste, because some fondant tastes very sweet, while others taste disgusting.

  • Can people tell me how to make those past thingy to make shapes :) ? And is it eatable i mean it sure is but is it good looks a bit chemical ^^

  • perfect gift...

  • the two who dosnt like this this probably really hates shoes........

  • @HorsieGirlie101 if you put your fondant in the freezer for goodness sake make SURE that the fondant is protected from moisture by wrapping it thoroughly in plastic wrap! Moisture is the ENEMY of fondant and one spot of condensation will ruin the look that you are going for if you are going for a matte finish. If your looking for the shiny patent leather look then lightly steaming the surface will give you a wet look. Be careful though it is sooo easy to ruin!

  • Do you have a templae for this shoe and shoebox cake?

    Thanks
