REPLY to Static Major Dissed AGAIN At The VMA's

This is a thank you video from Lil Wayne on Tha Carter 3.
At the end he gives a special shout out to STATIC MAJOR.
He says I cant say this would be possible with him.
Now that sounds like a thank you to me.

Wayne has given Static credit in many interviews for the success
of Lollipop and has publicly stated that Static just handed him
the song, as is, minus his vocals. All he did was get on it and it
was a go.

He also shouted him out at the Spring Break show and other performances (concerts, etc.)

But it is true it would have been nice if Wayne had done the same at the VMAs.
But really I dont think Lil Wayne meant any harm by not being more
specific in recognizing Static at the VMAs. Ive heard him refer to
Static as his homey and he has said that he misses him. Many people miss Static,
myself included. Its just that no matter what we argue about what Lil Wayne
should or should not have done in this matter, it doesnt change the fact that one of
the most introspective and prolific songwriters and producers of our time is gone, and there are many other people that could have thanked him that didnt while he was alive, whether on television or in interviews or on the Internet, like Lil Wayne has. And I
think, in his own way, Lil Wayne has shown that he cared about Static.
