This is my Multiplex Easy star with home made ailerons.
I just cut out the ailerons with a sharp knife and the hinges is made of tape.
The servos and the servo cable is glued to the wing with hot glue.

  • Hi, I have a Futaba 6EX and I was wondering is it possible to have the easystar with aileron modification plus head tracking? How many channels does the modified easystar use?

So does that mean 6 channels - head tracking (2 channels) - rudder (1 channel) - flap (1 channel) - aileron (1 channel).

    This will work right?

    Thanks man.

  • @muffdriver69 I think that will work. With the elevator it will be 6 channels.

  • @Ariel5574 I have another quick question. With my current setup, will I be able to use autopilot in case I lose control of my plane?

I heard autopilot requires 1 extra channel, is that true?

If it is I'm screwed :(

  • @muffdriver69 Not sure about the auto pilot. I dont think you need it on this plane.I think it just add to the all up weight.

  • @Ariel5574 Oh okay. But what's your backup plan when you suddenly lose control of the plan for no reason?
