@gmen2oo3 I agree with both to a degree. He should not have said to have sex without the intimacy and building to the sex connection again, if they have neglected that area of their lives.
She is right, intimacy is the precuror to having sex.
Sex does not work without resolving conflicts or if there are bigger issues.
What about that time of month or either being sick? He appears to be putting a notion of submission of a woman, rather than equal nurturing of each other.

This is a response to TRustig.... the concept was to make time for your partner, to enjoy the wonderful gift of sex in the married bed. Too many people take it as "just sex" but he wanted his congregation to trully explore the relationship and commitment to each other as couples, it takes time and planning when you have a busy life. you are taking the literal view on this, so all you see is the SEX,he is talking more about the intimate and spiritual and relationship building that comes from this

What a short sighted woman, this is the main reason why people do not understand and submit to GODS will. his whole point here was to point out how much our society and our business in life takes away from trully enjoying your partner and the precious gift of being intimate with each other. what a close minded person she is, but then again thats what she does for a living, provide the negative in all and call it journalism....

Also he said "I do not think that they are having as much sex as they should". HOW DO YOU KNOW? Do you have cameras in their homes? This guy doesn't have a clue of what is going on to even say such a thing. He doesn't know how much or how less of sex is going on. It's none of his business anyways.
