Richard III - Shakespeare Adaptation

Richard the 3rd District Manager

A modernization of act 1 of Richard III. Instead of killing off his competition to become king, this Richard gets a number of people fired to be the only candidate for District Manager.

This comedy version of Richard III employs many traditional tools of Shakespeare. All the soliloquies are written in iambic pentameter, and each scene ends on a rhymed couplet. Many other subtle Shakespeare tools are used as well like massive wordplay and a witty exchange between a man and woman who are evenly matched.
