Excellent! Great teaching style. No narcissistic talk about yourself and why you're doing this. Just great teaching! Thank you! Oh, nice picking, too!

Such a beautiful melody ... it is always a pleasure to watch an enthusiast at work :)

@davemathews48 Yes I have the tab and I checked with the original recording, it also says it in the music book too.

Thanks for this,,,,very helpful. The A7 shape you play is Am7 I think not the normal A7? i.e. x03010 No doubt a hundred others have mentioned this! The plain A7 would be x02020 or x02223

Lmao, you are awesome, man. Everything about you is awesome.

doesn't paul play it with a capo on the 7th fret?

Great lesson Mark, thanks for teaching me one of my favorite Simon and Garfunkle songs. My version is not quite as good as yours but I consider it a work in progress.
As you always say though, I had fun with that one!
Thanks again

Well done sir.

Great lesson. I'm glad you got that harmonic at the end -- it looked like it made it all worth while for you! :)

Right you are! Paul missed it on the original recording and had to go back and overdub that little harmonic.

Great lesson, Goldhat, as always. The one thing that you didn't detail was the pinch walk-down from C to G that you say "everyone knows."
Sadly, I dont know this move and am having trouble figuring it out. Would you mind detailing it here ( I am sure I am not alone here--and Paul Simon uses this A LOT!)
Thanks a million and nice work.

You can also do it in reverse, as Paul often does too.
