Disney XD - Mr. Young Promo

Mr. Young centers on child prodigy Adam Young (Brendan Meyer), who graduated from high school and university at the age of 14. He decides to come back to high school to live the high school experience, only he becomes the science teacher at the school. He re-unites with childhood friend Derby (Gig Morton) and encounters the school bully, Slab (Kurt Ostlund), and a student in his class whom he has a crush on, named Echo (Matreya Fedor).Child prodigy, Adam Young, is headed to the ninth grade - for the second time. Having completed it in thirty-five minutes the first time around, he's joined the students of Finnegan as a high school science teacher.
Adam went to University at the age of nine, and now, at fourteen, he's a college graduate and ready to enter the workforce. Job offers from pharmaceutical companies, dot-com's and NASA were intriguing, but he turned them all down to become a teacher.
With one foot in the lunchroom and the other in the staff room, Adam is trapped between two worlds. His co-workers and boss are more than twice his age - in some cases, a lot more. And, his students include his best friend, Derby, the girl he has a crush on, Echo, and Slab, the class bully.

@TheScorpio4lyfe Well, like I said, it didn't start out as a Disney show, it started out as a YTV show - a Canadian kids network up here. Disney bought the rights to air it on their stations.

I notice that all the girl lead characters are on the regular Disney Channel and all the boy lead characters shows are on Disney XD...I wonder why they do that?

@PianoDisneygal10 Disney doesn't 'make' the show. It is a Canadian production of YTV. Disney bought the rights to air it in the States and on their international channel. They have no say in the content.
