"One Marines Tour" by Mike Anderson - part one of five segments.

A heartwarming documentary chronicling the homecoming "Tiger Cruise" of the videographer's nephew USMC CPL Jake Hubby aboard the USS Duluth, in operation with USS Tarawa and USS Rushmore, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

Part one: Begins with the last day of their six months Tour. Homecoming. Oceanside, California. Then we back track to the days before March 2003.Live fire practice for Sierra Battery at Twenty - Nine Palms, Ca.

Part two: First hand account of the breech into Iraq for placement of the 155mm Howitzers guns and lead up to opening night of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Nightime live fire shoot at Twenty Nine Palms, Ca. gives us the sound and visuals of what it might have been like.

Part three: Join me on the last leg home aboard the USS Duluth, known as a Tiger Cruise. This is where relatives can join there returning military family member for the return crossing from Honolulu to Oceanside, with the 15th MEU.

Part four: The seven day crossing was filled full with demonstrations, Helios landing, fast roping Marines and Re-fueling operations.

Part five: Live fire M-16 to flare launchings and fire rescue practice were always interesting. Shipboard life on the last few days of their tour was fun to watch. Tensions were released between Guns platoon and Headquarters Platoon with friendly results. Closing Credits.
