This is my mod to the Parkzone Sukhoi. I've added nav lights and a spot/landing light from tinybritelights.com.

The lights are controlled by channel 5 on the included AR6400. The lights and controller weigh about 1.5 grams and have an average draw of 30mA (not 15mA that I state in the video). The only mod I had to make to the lights was crimping a connector onto the lights so it could plug into the AR6400.

I have not noticed a bit of difference when flying with on or off.

  • Very cool mod ,does it affect any flight chracteristics or flight time? Nice vid 5*

  • I didn't notice any difference. I actually kept the same weight because after putting the light control board in I was able to remove the T-Pins I had put in the tail to get the COG right.

  • I really like the idea and how it looks so I'll definitely be getting the set of lights. Do you think you could post another short vid showing the details of how you installed it? Thanks in advance!

  • Sorry, just noticed that they didn't post my reply because I had a link in it. Take a look at RCGroups under the "Parkzone Sukhoi: CG/Prop/Weight Mods *QUICK FINDER*" thread. I've got pics of my setup under the tinybritelights review link. If you still are looking for a video, let me know and I'll take a video when I open it back up to do the brushless conversion.

  • Very cool mod dude. I want to see some video of you flyin' with the lights on.

  • I'll try, but my camera isn't the best for video in at night.
