DUDE Wtf is that attack in Morph ball??

Im stuck on this part and i need your help..

Morph to ball-form, jump in that statue, go to hyper-mode, press and hold A. =) Voila!

You get that ability right after the first real Bossfight in the L.-Seed in Bryyo. Maybe you should fly back and investigate the arena, where the fight took place!
