  • The battery life is bad on the Nexus S? All I hear is praise about the battery life on this phone saying it doubles the life compared to other android phones out there and what not. Errrr... now I don't know who to believe because I'm highly considering getting this phone.

  • @aaronk1m Battery life is going to vary, depending on how you use the phone. The longest I was able to go without a charge was 12hrs. In those 12hrs I had a NON-live wallpaper, WiFi off, bluetooth off. My usage was roughly 25 minutes total talk time, 15 minutes web and 30 total minutes playing angry birds.I used it minimally to test battery life. The days i use the phone as usual (WiFi on, constant texting) I got anywhere from 6-8 hours before the battery turned yellow. I hope this helped.

  • There is an app on the android market called noled which solves the no notification light problem by placing a small multi colored dot on your off screen whenever the phone recieves a notification while sleep

  • @JevyJav The nice thing about Android is that there are so many apps in the market now, that most problems can be solved. However, the app "no led" should not be considered a fix. I have tried this app in the past and it caused more problems than it fixed. The screen stays on all the time (black screen) which uses up battery. Also, there are times when the screen is hard to unlock, due to the app. In my opinion, there is no software that can replace hardware.

  • Ur battery is low because ur using a live wallpaper and u have ur wifi on aswell as the brightness turned up

  • @mike4dj Yes you can.

  • You tell us "the Speaker sounds great" but....You Talk All During The Play Back !!!!

    One Word: Decafe !

  • You can see movies on the Nexus S?

  • camera button, led light are small things that dont really matter. no 720p is one problem. the fascinate is more friendly but i am a stock fan as well as touchwiz lol.

super amoled screen, latest software, 1ghz, 5mp, 4" inch screen. i prefer people to get a galaxy s of some kind, i would get the nexus s if the price was better. $100more n get a galaxy s 2. btw android ftw. im using my blackberry torch now

  • Just to note my HTC wildfire S battery last the same 10hrs max or less with

(3g,wifi, sync, location, turned off) as this phone, which is bad considering the phone is less powerful with smaller screen. -tested with new battery-

  • wtf i can't find any of the videos i put on from my computer but when i plug my phone into the computer the videos are all there in the media file! does someone have a solution to this problem?

  • I am interested in your opinion on the Nexus S on the Sprint 4G network.

  • One question ! I have now a HTC Touch HD for about 2 years... I want to buy either The Nexus S or the Galaxy S.... what you`ll recomand ? Lookin forword for your reply. Thanks

  • @MrDragon0111 it's available for any service with a certain type of SIM card (I think it's GDI I'm not sure) But yes, AT&T is included in that, as well as t-mobile and whatever other services that use those types f SIM cards. You can't buy it from an AT&T store, but you can at like a best buy. The only problem however is that I've heard you can only use it on AT&T'e edge service (which is a downgrade from 3G- it's basically 2G) so I mean this phone is absolutely amazing in my opinion and I plan
