George Benson (born March 22, 1943, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a Grammy Award-winning American musician, whose recording career began at the age of twenty-one as a jazz guitarist. He is also known as a pop, R&B, and scat singer. Benson uses a rest-stroke picking technique very similar to that of gypsy jazz players such as Django Reinhardt.

Jefferson Airplane succesfully created White Rabbit's base notes, but it was GB who put it into improvised version and create this one grande masterpiece!
Glad to hear this song of passion in the middle of music comercialization.

@illnastic if you want to research GB's picking style pls do google search for
the Tuck Andress analysis, he spent serious time watching GB and wrote an excellent
breakdown. I spent a week with GB in the 70's in LA, grilling him nightly on all aspects
of his playing. He played my old ES 175 on one set - and it sounded exactly like him!
