"Up There with the best of the best" - YEAH, today's upload is an original cinematic trailer for a 1986 movie hit. Bad luck it is in such bad quality, but this trailer is not included even on my Special 2DVD edition TOP GUN (EU release). If anyone has a better quality let us know in comments.

In the background you can hear a song "Stranger Eyes" by Cars - This song was not included on any Top Gun soundtrack release. It is a nice song - Thanks to user FunkSoulBrotherUK for a tip in comments that this song 'Stranger Eyes' by The Cars is included on their 1984 album - "Heartbeat City". Every damn fucking airshow during the late 80's, whenever an F-14 did a performance it was always the fucking "Dangerzone" song. Every damn F-14 presentation had TOP GUN music, you want to talk about overdone?

Hey, Be nice - In Europe it was allways a big thing to see F-14s in action at an Airshow. For example in Czech Republic where I live we never had a chance to see 14s in the Air display - And we had some huge Airshows in the 90s - they were only on static display. My point is WHEN IT IS GOOD - Why not showing it, you are not required to love it but general respect for this piece of aluminium is obvious.

Made without computers, only real images, real takes. Very well done, great photography and wonderful songs.

Loved this song when I first heard it in a theater watching the trailer in 1986 and wanted to know what it was. I thought it sounded a bit like The Cars Tonight She Comes. 25 years later I now know it is The Cars Stranger Eyes. Thanks ghostridertom.

Best Top Gun trailer i've ever seen. Of course it is not the best quality but here is the most action in the trailer, for example the ejection and the changing between radio speech and flight szeene.
