Still Not Up From Slavery: A Comprehensive, Yet Concise, Review of Our American Odyssey

For 246 years, yt our enslaved Afrikans ancestors, the reason we should honor them by referring to ourselves as nothing but NEW AFRIKANS. They endured inhuman living conditions, torture and rape, legally enforced servitude, and other horrendous crimes against humanity. Meanwhile, countless American corporations sponsored or benefited from the uncompensated labor and exploitation of these slaves.
In 1863, President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation only appeared to began the process of freeing the more than 4 million slaves of Afrikan descent in the United States, as Lincoln was actually a racist and advocated slavery-he was trying to save the union. But while slavery was abolished, sharecropping, "black codes", and Jim Crow laws perpetuated restrictions upon the freed Afrikans, now referred to as Negroes. Dozens of corporations continued to benefit from unpaid labor, allowing these companies to flourish.
Citing the persisting legacy of slavery, four descendants of these slaves filed class action lawsuits seeking reparations and reconciliation on behalf of the approximately 35 million living descendants of slaves. These lawsuits—filed on March 26th and May 1st, 2002—name six major American corporations that profited from the slave trade and the institution of slavery.
The plaintiffs were seeking access to documents revealing corporate slavery connections and compensation for unpaid labor that is long overdue.

What is Black Oppression?: Born in the USA

My definition: The violent and coercive suppression of people of Afrikan descent in America by the global white elite minority from a nation, class and gender perspective from our natural self-expression; disallowing us the opportunity to defend, define, and develop in our own image and interest. It is part and pascal to the system and business of white supremacy and is based on dint force and falsification
(violence and fraud)..."Oh yeah, most white people are so racist they don't even know it. So forget about appealing to their Christan conscious, they revealed that impossibility when they shot Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.-- worthy of note, the bullet hit him in the front and blow a hold in his back large enough for a football to fit in; and all he was doing was non-violently struggling for our civil rights".
