  • 'It's just tacky." What some see as tacky, others see as elegant. I suppose that is why each of us has an independent brain. I, personally, leaned toward elegant. Very much, Liberace was a showman and a headliner. And what, pray tell, is wrong with that? Made his crowd his family. That is tough to do and he did it with ease.

  • @fissionesque: I checked out your website;sorry, no piano repertoire at all; just what you fancy as ''improvisations''....so if you are so good why can't you post just one sample of your playing a standard piece of repertoire?

  • Ich Liebe Tunten!

  • Can we all agree that we're talking about 2 totally different styles of entertainment? I think that it's okay to be critical (even sharply critical) of either form of entertainment. To be critical of someone's criticism just makes for silly circular getting-off-the-track arguments. I think we can all agree that Liberace's fans and Glenn Gould fan may not be the same.

  • @mrstevecbournias All I wanted to do was express my dislike. It bothers me that things like this exist. I think this sort of decadence is immoral. I'm not really interested in how skilled he is. There are plenty of pianists who are skilled who have depth. And I'm not that full of myself, but you kind of put me on the defense when you immediately attacked me. But here is my music. Go ahead and attack it. soundcloud (dot) com/egodeathproj

  • @fissionesque Theres a lot of things you cant see cuz you are naive and narrow-minded, full of yourself. The more you post the deeper the hole you are in. You are a young punk that has nothing to show for yourself just hot air. people are allowed to like what they like without owing you an explanation. You boasted how magnificent you play and i called you out; till you post yourself playing you are full of it and its getting very deep around here; so lil squirt bug off.....

  • @mrstevecbournias Why would you even care how I play? It's not as if you would like it. You're biased. Also, he wasn't a great artist. Rachmaninoff was a great artist, Cziffra was a great artist, Leo Ornstein. This is just a display.

  • @mrstevecbournias Fine, I don't play amazingly, whatever. It doesn't really matter how I play because I'm not discussing myself on here. I'm talking about Liberace. He was terrible. He was obsessed with vanity and riches. It was all just a big glitz show. He even admitted this. He just takes the catchy things that entertains people and leaves out all the "boring" stuff. It's just tacky. Plus he was a terrible person in his personal life. I can't see why anyone would like that.

  • @fissionesque

So my friend; you are FULL of yourself; you don't post a single vid but you presumptuously down great artists to make yourself feel better and draw attention to yourself; a foot-flushing fake, a fraud
