yeah but with 52000 views, news travels. And you freqazoidiac say you promote your state of being on here, Peace and Love?. not very peaceful comments. This is an improvised battle and the whole point is to produce known breaks for Hip Hop fans. You will notice bernard purdie breaks aswell as those from bands like the meters, JBs and others, not to mention a bit of planet rock at the end. It's not a 'who's the most proficient and complicated drummer' competition, you melt!

In my experience, drummers have a huge amount of respect for each other, regardless of skill - unless of course the drummer in question happens to be a bit of a twat in person. Maybe the funk scene's different, or maybe most of you don't really know what you're on about. That, or you could just be a bunch of twats.

Sorry to say, but this is why white guys should NOT play funk drums. They just don't grove as well as black people which is what funk is all about.

This is not a racist comment at all, I'm white myself, just saying that's how it is. Black people have a natural rythm in their bodies that white people just don't, so don't get upset by this comment. But of cause there's alway the exeption that confirms the rule, so don't throw videos with groovie white guys at me.

I'm a self taught mediocre drummer. These guys are probably a bit better than me. If I were to have to judge a winner, I would give it to the second guy (without the hat). You gotta love drummin, or you wouldn't even click on this video.
