Can anyone identify the mysterious device to the left of the ARP Odyssey? It's a grey-blue box-like thing with two rows of switches, which I've seen appear in various programmes about the Radiophonic Workshop. Vangelis' studio had one as well.

this makes me want to get an arp odyssy

@dunebasher1971 yeah i've heard it and it was the music for one thats someone said "failed" when they were trying to make new themes
-
@BowTiesareCool12 no, that was a different arrangement. Search for "I Am The Doctor" on YouTube and you can hear it.

@KyleGibbons91 No , what I meant was back then, they had to work far more practically and actually get out of their spinny chairs to make something to film for the titles!

The original version was far better than the versions that replaced it--not unlike the original design of the Daleks compared to the bloated "new paradigm."

great clip... as we all know, the intro was sometimes much better than the actual episode. Leisure Hive.

I love the way the Peter Howell has to use his own voice to make the "ee-ow-ow" sound!

When the blokes are fiddling with the synthesisers, they look like the Doctor when he's working with the TARDIS' controls.
