i was in similar spot we both were 150 bbs deep. I raised he 3 bet again like he always does i had 88 so i call flop comes 3,5,7. he bets 1/3rd pot i just call. turn is a 5 he checks. I lead thinking its safe he raises big. So i call and river is an ace. Rainbow board. So im like ok any pocket pairs hes chekcing this river. any ace he will value bet and any big hand a value bet. He over bet jams. Made no sense. the ace took away his value on over pairs. I call he has kq and rants after that

how many buy ins you have i think would really effect this call. if your over rolled and have like 150/200+buy-ins you can play like this against the agro. if you were playing in the 10-30 buy in range. (which Taylor Caby would not approve of, this being one of the reasons why.). you might have to cut your losses on turn or river.... this goes to show how important it is to never play on scared money. great vid as always DR. galfond.
