Ella is now DJ Ella, internet dance music superstar, and - stumbling on her web page - Mr Cornwell realises that he still has feelings for her.

I can(do) take various drugs to alter a different kind state of consciousness. Wich gives me a new visions of the world.

I've been thinking about Buddhism, which might argue that there's no such thing as a conscious "state": consciousness is a process, is change. There's a neurologist, Gerald Edelman, who knows a load of circuits in the brain which map each other, feed into each other... he imagines consciousness as a kind of very meaningfully structured system of evolving feedback, lots of self-referential neural processing... it's the boom shit YEHHH.
