You know I just realized something. I was getting a bit impatient and maybe even irritated with how slow Mr Tolle is speaking in this video especially during the long pauses. That made me realize how not in the moment I am. I am always trying to race on to the next moment in this case to the end of this video.

this has opened up a whole new reality for me and it is much simpler than i ever imagined .. i remember years ago attempting to meditate but my mind was all chatter and would not stop .. the simple statement of "you are not your mind" has stopped the chatter dead in it's tracks and i have lost the idea of expectation and move ever further into moment by moment acceptance. it is saving my life :)

I got enlightened when I was 25 and it is true that huge enlightenment process is going on in the world. people saw I had something special and they wanted to have it, some people even got enlighened in my presence. amazing.

As I sit and listen to what this points toward, I get impatient and start pondering in dread about the madness that I must face in a couple of hours. Yet I still know this is nesessary to be here in this moment, to remember what is important. I'm guessing we know this happens when we can see the good in others, and that space between goodness and reactive patterns of thinking that lead to destruction. It seems that even a brief interruption of these patterns, can have a significant effect..

@burmanhands Eckhart Tolle says that his way was simply to suffer from his ego until it became unbearable. ^^ So one could say, you can *do* pretty much anything until you eventually realize that you'll only stop suffering if you stop (over-) identifying with what you do. I guess that means everybody will awaken eventually. ^^
