Each district in Seattle vies for $90K worth of transportation crumbs for essential pedestrian circulation every year. This is Will's 4th try. In this case it's on Linden Ave N where huge buildings have gone in full of people - families, seniors, disabled - all kinds of people with no safe way to walk around. I'm very disgusted with the small amount of money for the Neighborhood Street Fund and how many good citizens put their time in to try to get the money to make their neighborhoods better. Can someone please audit how much of the transportation pie in Seattle goes to pedestrians?
Will thanks for putting that plan together and submitting it 4! times. This is unacceptable, but hang in there. Kate thanks for sharing this video.
