@KungFuRobot779 Don't blame the film, the version kubrick read was the american version which had the the last chapter edited out, although it would've been nice to see the last chapter on the big screen

@frankensteinmoneymac Kubrick said "Don't even read it". He thought it was unrealistic like the American publishers.

@KungFuRobot779 Exactly! This was gonna be my reply as well.....you beat me to it though! It still amazes me that this chapter was left out of the book....even more so that the film didnt bother to include it either! Dont get me wrong...I still think the film is great, which is a testiment to the quality of Kubricks directing ability, considering this almost unforgiveable flaw, would have ruined the film if done by anyone else!
