  • You should do a video on how to do the multi color stamp like your Superman disc.. I'd be very interested in learning how to do that. good video guys.

  • @7MinuteStagger I'll see what I can do.

  • would it be bad if i didnt remove the stamp?

  • @Pnasalberta It wouldn't turn out right if you didn't remove the stamp. If you don't have acetone, try other options such as rubbing alcohol.

  • so is the black dye confirmed on being changed? cuz the colors did well but the black is making me mad

  • @ImGnotAbabysitter I do believe the black is confirmed bad. I heard that the liquid version works but I haven't tested it.

  • @tadisc maybe the wrong plastic? dx doesn't hold it very good. I never use that much dye as you, but the dye has to be warm enough(when it starts fuming if you turn down the heat, it is good).

  • @ImGnotAbabysitter Just leave it in longer. Sometimes I make one and then go to bed, so it stays in there for 8 hours or so

  • Hey man, so i just went out and bought the stuff and did it. It worked great but the dye is not very dark. I left it in for like 45 minutes. Is it not hot enough or do i not have enough dye or what? I used half a bottle or RIT dye along with a little bit of water. So what do you think? whats the problem?

  • thanx guys i was about to spend 20 bucks plus the cost of a new disc to get one dyed not anymore though :)

  • @RapscallionStallion with the rit dye, it depends on the age no matter the color or if you have powder or liquid. if you have liquid, you need to look for 'NO' in the manufacture stamp on the lid. if it has the 'NO' it is the new formula and will not work. if it is the powder, you need a date stamp prior to mid 2010 on the box. anthing after 18010 and you are pushing your luck. good luck

  • Good stuff brother! I'm going to try this today but I have the Liquid Rit dye. Do I add water? How much? I also heard of using rubbing alcohol. What are your thoughts on that?
