Simon and Garfunkel song from their album Bridge Over Troubled Water. This specific recording is from the Collected Works CDs. The mourning doves are starting to nest on the fence stringer under the jasmine and near the pear tree. It all seemed to fit.

@clazza01 There are lots of doves in the UK. Some people confuse them with pigeons. Nice video, beautiful song.

@birdman404 Checked in on them yesterday evening while cutting the lawn - whichever one was on the nest gave me that beady-eyed "keep back" look! So, I suppose they've decided to stay at least for one nest-full.
