It's funny you associate Gene's talent with the number of other bands he discovered, signed, produced, whatever....
One could easily conclude 'success" in that he achieved well beyond the dreams of most people with only ONE band.

Keel is reunited, and touring; Loudness reunited with all original members (until last year when the drummer died of cancer); the guitarist from EZO is now a record company exec, and the singer is now the drummer for fIRESIGn; Doro just finished her 25th Anniversary Tour. Oh, and House of Lords, the other band Gene produced, are still together; Gregg Giuffria is out but he designed the music chip for slot machines. Every time a song plays, Gregg gets paid. Not bad, eh? :)

Well done! All of such good quality that they are still players today... NOT (KISS ASIDE.. that is his only success story)! As I said... DrainO! Touch Gene and he gets paid and you dissssssssapear....
PS: Cher was fine on her own! Although she did do a song writtenb by Paul (Who is not a whore) as I remember.
