  • Just to clarify this: "Lag" is always caused by connectivity. It is per definition a delay that is caused by too much data that is send through a too slow connection - meaning that it's only a lag if you have a high ping because of a slow connection or other programs eating your bandwidth, especially huge downloads. Most users also apply this word to stuttering graphics / low framerates that are caused by wrong settings, a problem/bug or a slow computer.
