  • No one is required to like this and it’s only your problem if you don’t understand story told in Le parc. Real art isn’t just about showing beauty and happiness but also other, not necessarily pleasant feelings. But you’re right, no one expect a shallow mind can understand that all – as well gestures, which mean a lot. Pretentious is only your comment, someone who know culture contexts can clearly see connections between Le Parc and french literature, “Dangerous liaisons” for example.

  • Hi, I think I've asked before. But is this performance/rehearsal on DVD somewhere? What is the name of the DVD, if I may ask? I'd like to buy it :) And I'm talking about THIS SPECIFIC performance/interpretation/rehearsal. I know there are a lot of interpretation/DVDs of "Le Parc."

  • @shahoney Both pas de deux with Manu and Aurelie (with black one from Lady of the camellias) are adittions to the documental film about Dupont - L'espace d'un instant. You cannot buy the whole performance. When it comes to interpretations of Parc on DVD there is just one but really exquisite - with divine Laurent Hilaire and Isabelle Guerin. Really worth to recommend, especially if you haven't seen it yet.

  • I'm dying watching this. One of the deepest, most beautiful, most precious pas de deux ever made. with this music. danced by those dancers.

  • This was extremely beautiful.

  • @Khamomil My assumption to you lack of culture is not because you don't like this dance. You are free to like or hate whatever you want. What bothers me is what you say about art being destroyed, your arguments are really poor. There isn't a "deliberate effort to destroy artistic beauty" in art today. It is about questioning with mediums we have to get to interrogate people, and you should know that society today is not just pretty. That doesn't make me applause whatever piece of crap I see.

  • @mana53 Your assumption that I lack culture because I don't like this dance is erroneous. My culture is the arts is pretty developed. You should know that there is a deliberate effort to destroy artistic beauty and make disharmony, awkwardness and anti-literature the new norm and all the pretentious followers of art trends applaud like those who applauded the beauty of the fabled emperor's "new clothes" when he was going around the town in his underwear. Keep oohing and aaahing, you NWO tool.

  • @Khamomil next time you wanna talk about art, try to read some books before, go to a museum, or work on your subject because all you said seriously proved you lack of culture.

art is only being destroyed by close minded action and reactions as yours. art is not over, it is always improving.

  • Ca rend pas du tout la même chose que la pub d'air France... Superbement bien dansé.

  • Incredible talent! Perfectly danced.

  • @Khamomil @ MrGanesh ...Have you ever been deeply inLove? Can you truly not feel the emotion being portrayed here between these two people with this piece?...

  • @Ewaasia Thank you!! You said all. I completely agree with you and sorry for my english...

  • @Khamomil
