The USA does not have an empire, the last empire to rule was the BRITISH EMPIRE look it and if you look hard enough the BRITISH EMPIRE is now what BRITAIN calls THE COMMONWEALTH. @kinkaid25, The US conquered my country of South Carolina, killed 21,000 of our citizens and burned all our major towns to the ground. Some of my ancestors were killed by the US Empire trying to defend our people from invasion. The US has treated countless people not only here in North America (look at what they savagely did to the Souix, for example) but also around the globe. It's certainly an Empire - an a bloody awful one at that. I can't wait to see it dumped to the trash-pile of history.
