  • @sanjoseguy527 If you live in Iran, yes. Maybe you should move there. You'd love it! :D

  • There are POLITICAL CONSEQUENCE to voting FOR the IMMORAL UNNATUREL PERVERTED LIFESTYLE called SODOMY or HOMOSEXUALITY, BITCH.

  • @xraycat30 One of the central principles of American law regarding marriage is that both parties must be in a position to consent. In situations of incest and polygamy woman are usually at a disadvantage and may not have sufficient power to be considered "consenting." Both of these situations tend to victimize women and that is why they are condemned by human rights groups and that is why you have to resort to citing Arab countries as examples - countries with terrible human rights records.

  • @pbanksphoto Incest is "unquestionably harmful"? Why don't you try telling that to the Arab countries where marrying cousins are common? About incest, if the couple doesn't plan on having children, how can you deem it harmful? And even if they did, how can you justify challenging their civil rights? Polygamy, where's proof of this being harmful? Huh?? And what about a man marrying multiple women as is allowed in many parts of the world? Not so simple is it? Nice try about being PC though.

  • Polygamy and incest are unquestionably harmful. The state has the power to regulate marriage and can make illegal any arrangement that can be shown to be harmful. The people arguing against gay marriage have the burden to show the state's interest in keeping gay marriage illegal and they simply haven't been able to. The Prop 8 trial in CA was exhaustive and they couldn't make a case.

  • @xraycat30

Obviously, same-sex marriage is a gateway marriage.

  • This woman wants to threaten elected officials careers because of their choice to freely vote about issues? Does this mean that marriage laws should apply to polyamorists and bigamists? Why not? On what grounds could you then disqualify these individuals? Islam and Mormonism allow a man four wives? Should we secure this marital institution with all benefits afforded to a two-person couple? Why not? What about incest marriage? Why not? Marriage as we know it will dissolve.

  • @bomac10000 When miscegenation laws were on the books, blacks had the right to marry any other black person and whites could marry any other white person. That was considered equality once upon a time but now we know better. The state should have no business determining who we can marry without some compelling reason for doing so - protecting one's right to condemn homosexuality is not a legitimate state interest.

  • @TheSololobo exactly the same

  • Its no anti equality either its a sin.
