Dr. Kenneth Bridle, Piedmont Land Conservancy's Stewardship Director, leads a walk in the Conservancy's 160 acre Knight Brown Preserve. Cecilia Brown donated the Preserve to PLC as a natural area and to be used for education and outreach.

On this walk, we found meadow rue, showy orchid, paw paw, maiden hair fern, may apple, many other plant species, chub and crayfish.

Among other plants, look for meadow rue, showy orchid, paw paw, maiden hair fern and may apple.
