  • Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

If you want some more messages to encourage you to walk closer with Jesus, please search for Today's Scripture Reading Sammyboy in google or yahoo.

Thanks and God Bless the reading of His Word.

  • ...but you are.

What exactly have you done that superceeds the meer idea of what God can do, that places you in a position to judge Him

Thankyou for your reply. You quote the old testament but didn't Jesus come along and do away with all the mumbo-jumbo from the old testament about who begat who and Egypt and all that?

I'm more comfortable worshipping a real person who acheived excellence and fulfilled his potential than a 'god' who pointed the finger at a woman when he should have blamed a snake.

All the best to you my Christian friend.

  • as much as i love jimi, otis and marvin as much as the rules for us are pretty clear :)

    The first commandment

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me." - Exodus 20:2-3

Also, the bible directs us time and time again to turn away from idolatry, because it is a sin. Worshipping anything other than God is idolatry.

You're probably not a Christian, but these are the reasons I'd put forth :)

Where can I learn all these rules about who to worship and who not to worship? I presume I'm not allowed to worship Otis Redding or Marvin Gaye then if Jimi's not allowed?

  • Not at all...Jimi's dead. You can love his music, but there's nothing in him that can be worshipped of course. He's just a man :)

  • Is it OK to worship somebody like Jimi Hendrix if you find the whole idea of "God" a bit too far fetched?

  • There are Africans in need of food. There are children in need of homes. They can pray till the cows come home. Jesus won;t do anything. Why? Because there is nothing there.

  • the entity is within you, don't argue with linear minds.
