This is a demo of a program made by my colleague and I for a signature (PTIAR), while attending the Masters Degree in Artificial Intelligence.
This program was not only able to recognize among different markers, but it was also capable of estimating the distance of the marker (in mm) and its inclination, using RANSAC method to calculate the homography. It was implemented in Python, using the OpenCV library.
This program was later integrated in a Vision Module for a mobile robot who used it for self-localization through landmark recognition.
