this is a video of the game that johnny and i wrote in the course of "einführung in die spieleprogrammierung" ("introducing game programming"), which is a lecture at the university of augsburg (bavaria/germany). unfortunately, i wasn't able to capture the sound.
the aim of the game is to quickly move the crates through the maze to the tree. there is an ai-controlled npc that does so as well. walking through the hedges is not allowed and will cancel the current game.
hi, uhm. can i ask, on the blender game engine, how can you make a speech/dialogue system? like, while controlling your character, and you make it close to a npc, and press(for example) the A key, a dialogue box will appear, like "Hi, what's up?" and so on. Please reply?
