the problem that an aging Iverson could not get close to his prime, is because he relies much on sheer speed and quickness to compensate his small size.

Now being in his mid 30's he definetly lost speed and jumping skill. While old players like MJ they were still 6'6 tall and still deadly with his fadeaway jumper.

Allen Iverson isn't "the answer" in Philly anymore, he is definitely a step up at the point guard position, and will provide a good scorer, but he is not going to take them to the playoffs without the 76ers getting someone to help him, and Iggy out, because lets face it, Brand isn't the player he once was either
