The african dreams of a British Colonial, Sir Steward Gore-Brown are embodied in the remote Shiwa Ngandu manor house and estate, which he built in the 1920's. Shiwa Ngandu is a local term which means lake of the crocodile. This 42 roomed mansion has a fascinating history (including a resident ghost) that the owners share with their guests.
