It always seems like teams who win the World Series have unlikely events go their win, and when this happened, I was like "This has got to be our year." With this walk, the Stairs homerun in the NLCS, and the Ruiz walk off grounder in the World Series, there was no doubt.

i was there section 106 i can still hear the crowd chanting c.c. c.c.c.c. timeless will never forget it

I felt more priviliaged to hear Harry call both of those at Bats with Brett Vs CC

That was a greta moment even though Brett wasnt a great hitter he showed a hell of a lot of heart not giving up that last strike and working for a hit or atleast the walk

i was sitting in left field it was so damn loud everytime he fouled one off!! what an awesome moment so intense

This was one of those soo unlikely events that went on during the playoffs for the Phillies. Brett Myers' walk against one of the most dominant pitchers in the league, Victorino hitting a salami off him, Matt Stairs' HR against a relief pitcher who hadn't given up a homer in over 2 years, etc...it was those moments that really defined the Phillies postseason run. But good teams always seem to get those breaks and fortunate plays, etc...What a run 2008 was for the Phils...

Who would have imagined that Brett Myers, batting a whopping .069 for the season would battle back from an 0-2 count against one of the best pitchers in the league? A magical moment is a magical season!!!
