Neurontin(gabapention) was the worst hell going off of I have ever been thru! I tapered down like I had read to do online since my dr. wouldn't help me. I was on a dose of like 2 pills 3 times a day. I forget the exact dosing and that was for a yr or so.It is dangerous and I do NOT suggest doing it on your own! Zoloft was the same deal of tapering down. Both took 5 weeks of time to withdrawal off. Took a good year to recover from the withdrawals of both of these. God bless my kids for going this with me. Doctors need to educate themselves more! the other drug I mention in this video is Provigil a nasty little drug(legal speed) which works for a few days then turns u paranoid, and uptight, and it's awful! For me it was. At first you see that it keeps u awake and u think great! Since with CFS u r so exhausted and want to sleep, but it doesn't waken your mind, then I couldn't relax, couldn't sleep, was paranoid.

  • Neurontins are non addictive for fuck sake.

  • @TrippyClown15 Just relaying my personal experience.

  • Not really truth. Gabapentin helped me for a long time, it was just the weening off that kicked my butt. Give it time and see if it helps, but when u go to get off them have your dr. help. I wish I would have had help and support from my dr.

  • I believe at my highest 6 a day.

  • TY Teddy.

  • TY! It was the worst hell, and that I can't even come close to conveying on video.

  • It wasn't gabpentin it was SSRI withdrawal and you were on it so long. What you had was a constant panic attack. a benzo wouid have resolved thae problem. I have been on both 1800mg of neroutin and paxil then zoloft. ambien will cause hell if you dont sleep within 30 min. Try 500mg magnesium, vitamin b2 , b6...etc, I only say this since I have went through same thing.

  • @TrippyClown15 they are extremely addictive! I had a seizure in the first 24 hrs after stopping...for fucks sake, know what you're talking about before commenting

  • 5:06 "OH HELL NAWH!"

  • I was just prescribed Neurontin (gabapention) 300mg X 3 times a day for my back pain. The doctor even said their not additive but you need to ween off them when you come off them. This is my second day on them and I feel all dizzy and cant think straight, the Doc said that will subside. From your video I'm considering not taking them at all, but I was looking for alternatives to oxycontin and Panadine fortes that I'm currently taking. Any thoughts from your end???

  • thank you! i really needed to hear your story. you have greatly inspired me and answered some of my questions on withdrawal, specifically regarding those meds. thank you so much for your courageously and painfully garnered insights. you're saving people. god bless you

  • going off zoloft was hell for me! I thought i was going crazy. its been two months since i have been off zoloft and im still not back to normal. i have bad anxiety and panic attacks out of nowhere . I have never got this bad anxiety in my life. Im only 18 years old and cant even live a normal life anymore . For me my withdrawl symptoms were brain zaps, nausea, exstreme anxiety and panic attacks . suicidal thoughts everyday constantly ,depression, and very emotional.
