Have you heard of bit rot affecting hard drives after time? Reality? Also, I have multiple external hard drives that my sytem no longer recognizes. Any solution? I actually had an IT guy recommend putting the external hard drive in the freezer! What I don't like abougt Firefox is that sometimes that back arrow is not lit up, so I can not go back to a prior page.

I just installed vista on my friends computer for free, he had the same problem as you. DOn tget ripped off by dell, the least someone could do is help you get rid of the virusus.
