London Underground - 1992 Stock Central Line - Chancery Lane to St Pauls - TrainBusJaguar. The ride is on 1992 Stock from Chancery Lane to St Paul's, although the tube arriving & departing (beginning & end) is filmed at Bank (someone went right in front of the lens on my original footage, bother!) Filmed on May 28th 2008. It's not often I get to travel on the tube!

  • The seats are uncomfortable, there's not one of these trains without duct tape, it's dull inside... But that speed... and that unforgettable sound. That sound.

  • I can not tell you how much i love the sound this train makes. I mean as a kid i was obsessed with it, i lived in Walthamstow at the time so we used to always get on the Victoria line 1967 stock i believe (my second favourite) so when we did go on the Central line it was always special for me. Funny cos now i live in woodford and i get this train everyday to college and back.

Also i loved how (pre chancery Lane crash) the trains used to fly, now they've obviously lowered the speed :(

  • "This train terminates at Hainault via Newbury Park"...burned in my memory. :D I was back and forth from London one year and stayed in Holland Park quite a bit. One evening, already tired, I had to go back to Oxford Street. I get really silly when I'm overtired and found myself repeating the phrase low but out loud. One person near me gave me a knowing look and a grin. :D But I do miss it because it brings back silly memories.

  • Could you smell it like a dogs???

  • I hate the announcements at Leicester Square.
